I've been so giddy since I dropped off my official first senior portraits of Amber on Saturday. The hair salon was busy as usual on a Saturday afternoon and Jessica (Amber's Mom who owns the salon) began passing out the pictures for her customers to see!! What a RUSH! Everyone was ooohing and ahhing my work and saying how I should do it for more than just a hobby! She said that a couple of Amber's friends had asked her for my number but she wasn't sure if I wanted to do this all the time. I told her to go ahead and give out my number, because I am having a blast doing this!! Then last night my sister called me to tell me she found me a customer too!! AHHH! Customer? Now comes the questions of what to charge and the other things with starting your own business!! If anyone has done this PLEASE give me some tips!
As my husband and I were leaving the salon I said to him, this sure is more gratifying than balancing the books at work! Now to figure out how to profit from it!

Hi, your pictures are so nice what program do you use? Do you edit them and save them to disc to have them printed? Is there a reason you do not print them off yourself? My favoirte is the one with the dog in a bubbble. It is awsome! Queenie

Thanks Queenie! I use 3 or 4 different softwares, but mostly I use Photo Impact Pro. I do print some pictures at home, but bigger volumes I send out to have done. The quality is better and it's cheaper than using all my ink
